“Do I need a new Computer?” 

  • Do you have a computer but are not sure that it is up to date or functioning as designed?
  • You are thinking of buying something but are unsure of what to get?

If so our Computer Workshop: is for you!

Our Workshop leader : Chris Conway, Owner of CEJ Computer Merrimack NH.

Chris has extensive background in computing for business and personal use. His company among other things acquires pre owned computers (primarily laptops) where his staff  formats the hard drives, updates the system firmware, reinstalls Windows 10 Pro, reinstalls all the drivers and runs software to test all the components before selling the hardware.

New to you.

Chris will have some reconditioned equipment on site during the workshop available for sale. Each comes with a 6 month warranty, virus protection and other applications pre-loaded like CCleaner and Libre Office.

Free and Open Source Software

LibreOffice (alternative to Microsoft Office) is a Free and Open Source Software which includes several applications that make it the most versatile Free and Open Source office suite on the market: Writer (word processing), Calc (spreadsheets), Impress (presentations), Draw (vector graphics and flowcharts), Base (databases), and Math (formula editing).  Libre Office will be preinstalled on all the computers for sale. CEJ’s simple instructions explaining how to use CEJ’s recommended anti-virus software. This will help you to keep your new computer as virus free & efficient as possible.
